Responsibilities
- Collaborate with channel partner solutions engineers to provide localized technical support throughout Japan.
- Conduct joint technical workshops, training sessions, and solution overviews to strengthen partner capabilities.
- Assist partner-driven sales opportunities with deep architectural insight, proof-of-concept support, and competitive positioning.
- Create and maintain Japanese-language technical materials including demo setups, reference designs, and enablement presentations.
- Foster strong relationships with key distributor and reseller contacts to advance sales pipelines.
- Strengthen technical visibility within Japan's developer and DevSecOps communities.
- Present at industry and partner-hosted events to showcase technical expertise and product value.
- Develop technical content in Japanese, such as blogs, tutorials, and solution guides, to fill regional knowledge gaps.
- Engage with developer audiences at meetups, developer days, and hackathons to generate early-stage interest.
- Lead in-depth technical discussions with Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security, and AI teams at strategic accounts to assess AI governance and agent-based development needs.
- Lead in-depth technical discussions with Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security, and AI teams at strategic accounts to evaluate software supply chain risks and secure build requirements.
- Lead in-depth technical discussions with Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security, and AI teams at strategic accounts to understand Japanese regulatory and compliance demands.

- Design and manage technical proofs of concept and proofs of value with defined success metrics and executive-level value summaries.
- Shape purchasing decisions through technical demonstrations, architecture reviews, and executive briefings.
- Translate AI security and governance features into compelling business narratives for CISOs, platform leaders, and AI executives.
- Cultivate relationships with technical influencers across Security, DevOps, Platform, and AI teams in key customer accounts.
- Support customer renewals and expansion efforts by maintaining ongoing engagement post-sale.
- Showcase Docker's AI offerings as a governance and security foundation for AI-native development, including policy enforcement for agent workflows via Docker MCP Gateway.
- Showcase Docker's AI offerings as a governance and security foundation for AI-native development, including model lifecycle management and compliance via Docker AI Governance (GA May 2026).
- Showcase Docker's AI offerings as a governance and security foundation for AI-native development, including secure, patched base images via Docker Hardened Images.
- Showcase Docker's AI offerings as a governance and security foundation for AI-native development, including isolated developer environments via Docker Sandbox.
- Advise customers on implementing AI governance across their software development lifecycle, especially in securing agent-based development environments.
- Serve as a technical authority on secure software supply chains, container security, and AI security in customer and community interactions.
- Offer architectural guidance on policy-as-code implementation, identity governance for AI workloads, and SBOM transparency.
