As a System Administrator, you will play a key role in setting up and managing IT environments for real-world industrial deployments. Your responsibilities include configuring physical and virtual systems using Proxmox and Docker, preparing deployments for remote installation at operational sites like wind farms, and ensuring seamless integration once systems are live.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain Linux-based infrastructure, virtual machines, and containerized services using Docker and docker-compose.
- Deploy and validate systems on-site, verifying communication with local components and confirming operational readiness.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across microservices, SCADA systems, and virtualized environments.
- Document configurations and incidents in ticketing systems, and work closely with internal support teams to ensure service continuity.
- Contribute insights to improve deployment workflows, automation scripts, and monitoring practices.
- Support initial production phases and provide operational feedback to enhance system reliability.
What You Bring
- Formal training or a degree in IT administration, DevOps, or a similar technical field.
- Proven experience in system administration or IT operations, particularly with Linux environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, container technologies, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience using ITSM platforms such as Jira or ServiceNow, and working in agile environments.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges.
- Fluency in English and Polish at B2 level or higher.
- Willingness to collaborate, learn continuously, and grow within a technical career path.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Basic understanding of MongoDB and data storage systems.
- Interest in scripting, automation tools, and infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of German is beneficial but not required.
Technology Environment
