Abacus Technology is hiring a Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in deploying cloud infrastructure solutions according to business needs, following direction from senior team members.
• Help integrate and refine cloud systems with current infrastructure and external services, including low-code and no-code platforms.
• Support system optimization initiatives focused on improving performance and reliability.
• Create and manage automation scripts for cloud resource setup and maintenance using scripting tools such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Support the implementation and operation of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor system performance and conduct basic troubleshooting, including configuring and maintaining monitoring tools.
• Resolve routine technical issues and escalate more complex problems to senior staff.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project goals and support technical execution as part of a team.
• Help create and keep up to date documentation for cloud systems and operational procedures.
• Participate in training and workshops to stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices.
• Track cloud usage and spending, report insights to senior engineers, and support cost analysis for optimization opportunities.
• Support AI integration by helping deploy AI solutions in cloud environments, preparing data, setting up models, and improving performance and scalability under supervision.
