Responsibilities

• Guide, develop, and support a data engineering team, promoting a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
• Manage the full lifecycle of critical data pipelines, ensuring high scalability, speed, and compliance with service level agreements for both batch and streaming data.
• Serve as the final checkpoint for data integrity, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the data platform to support reporting, analytics, and regulatory requirements.
• Convert intricate business needs into actionable technical designs and implementation plans through close collaboration with product managers, architects, and stakeholders.
• Ensure data engineering workflows follow corporate standards, with strong focus on security, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices.
• Drive automation, performance improvements, and innovation in data processing to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support the strategic direction of the data department by contributing to roadmaps, leading key projects, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives.
