About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing and placing technical talent, understand software development roles, and thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and attract skilled software engineers and developers
  • Conduct initial screenings and assess technical qualifications
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring teams across time zones
  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
  • Build talent pipelines for future technical openings
  • Communicate regularly with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Partner with engineering managers to define role requirements
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, and referrals
  • Evaluate candidate experience against role specifications
  • Provide feedback to applicants in a timely manner
  • Stay current on tech stack trends and developer markets
  • Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Negotiate offers and support onboarding
  • Track key recruitment metrics and report progress
  • Promote employer branding during outreach
  • Use Boolean search techniques for targeted sourcing
  • Attend virtual career events and meetups
  • Maintain confidentiality of hiring data
  • Adapt communication style for technical professionals

  • Recruitment experience in startup environments
  • Background in computer science or engineering
  • Experience hiring for AI or machine learning roles
  • Prior work with remote-first companies
  • Knowledge of compensation benchmarks for developers
  • Familiarity with agile development teams
  • Certification in technical recruitment
  • Experience using HRIS platforms
  • Track record of closing hard-to-fill roles
  • Multilingual communication abilities
