Responsibilities
- Establish and guide the strategic direction for DevOps methodologies across the company
- Make key architectural decisions for cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and resource management
- Act as the go-to expert for resolving advanced infrastructure issues
- Review system designs with a focus on security, scalability, and operational reliability
- Build and manage cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- Take ownership of continuous integration and continuous delivery systems to ensure rapid, secure releases
- Develop and sustain monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks
- Lead incident management efforts and conduct post-incident reviews to strengthen system durability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to assess infrastructure requirements and deliver scalable implementations
- Coordinate with security teams to uphold compliance and enforce security standards
- Engage with engineering and product leaders on capacity forecasting and long-term technical planning
- Provide mentorship and technical growth opportunities for DevOps engineers
- Define, maintain, and document operational procedures, standards, and best practices
- Promote a culture centered on system reliability, automation, and iterative enhancement
