What You'll Do
Drive the technical vision for enterprise accounting platforms by designing robust system architectures and leading API strategy. You'll play a key role in building and maintaining secure, scalable services, working across the full stack to deliver reliable software solutions.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and QA teams to define technical requirements and deliver complex projects from concept to completion. You'll lead design discussions, conduct code reviews, and ensure production stability by diagnosing and resolving critical issues.
Mentor junior developers, helping them grow through technical guidance and feedback. Champion engineering best practices, promote code quality, and support test automation efforts in partnership with QA. Serve as a technical resource for internal stakeholders, including Customer Success, to ensure solutions meet business and user needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in software development, system integration, security, and architectural design
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming using Python
- Experience with front-end technologies including React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS frameworks
- Proven track record with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL, including schema design and query optimization
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment with a flexible, adaptable mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience developing enterprise-grade API products
- Leadership experience managing or guiding development teams
- Working knowledge of GraphQL and Apollo Server
