- Deploy and manage blockchain networks, handling chain launches, upgrades, hard-forks, snapshots, and recovery procedures
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
- Operate Kubernetes clusters at scale, optimizing for safe rollouts, resource efficiency, and cost-effective capacity planning
- Lead incident management for high-severity outages, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
- Design and maintain observability systems using SLOs, error budgets, dashboards, and actionable alerting
- Develop and extend tooling for state management, replay testing, and production debugging, including contributions to upstream clients
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Linux and Kubernetes in production, particularly in networking, storage, and performance troubleshooting
- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Helm, or Ansible
- Programming and scripting skills in Go, Python, or Bash for automation and tool development
- Hands-on experience running and tuning blockchain nodes, including JSON-RPC services and validator operations
- Familiarity with observability stacks like Prometheus and Grafana, and experience defining meaningful service level objectives
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TLS, load balancing, and routing protocols like BGP and anycast
Preferred Qualifications
- Production experience with blockchain clients such as Geth, Erigon, Nethermind, Besu, Cosmos SDK, Solana, or Substrate
- Experience managing multi-cloud environments with real-world cost and capacity modeling
- Track record of building or improving operational tooling in Go or Python
- Contributions to open-source blockchain software or upstream client fixes
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and simplify system designs
