Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for technical roles.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate the hiring process, including scheduling interviews and extending offers.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruiting activities and candidate information.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical recruiting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates and industry professionals.
  • Participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruiting activities.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Work closely with the talent acquisition team to improve recruiting processes.
  • Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the hiring process.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and provide data-driven insights to improve hiring strategies.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system and ensure data accuracy.
  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications.
  • Provide feedback to candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.
  • Support the development of employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand hiring needs and trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to hiring.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance recruiting skills.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the talent acquisition team.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Certification in recruiting or human resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
  • Experience with defense or aerospace industry recruiting.
  • Familiarity with government contracting and clearance processes.
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting.
  • Proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media platforms.
  • Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with data-driven recruiting strategies.
  • Proven track record of successful placements in technical roles.
  • Ability to conduct effective interviews and assessments.
  • Experience with onboarding and integration of new hires.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Experience with employer branding and recruitment marketing.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
