Responsibilities
- Create and manage automated test scripts and frameworks for software applications.
- Apply testing tools and methods to achieve full test coverage and efficient execution.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and define functional and performance test plans.
- Run automated tests, evaluate outcomes, and record detailed results.
- Detect and log defects, supporting development teams in resolving issues promptly.
- Partner with product managers, developers, and QA specialists to shape test strategies and automation approaches.
- Apply strong analytical skills to diagnose problems and recommend practical solutions.
- Communicate effectively and contribute as a collaborative team member in a shared environment.
- Maintain high precision and dedication to quality in all tasks.
- Review test data and deliver comprehensive reports on findings, including defect tracking.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines alongside development and QA teams.
- Keep thorough and well-organized documentation of test procedures, scripts, and outcomes.
- Ensure all documentation meets federal contracting standards.
- Monitor and manage defect logs and test results with accurate recordkeeping and follow-up.
- Diagnose and fix issues in test automation and software quality processes.
- Deliver practical feedback to development teams to improve product quality.
- Ensure all automation activities follow federal contracting requirements and compliance standards.
