Amber is looking for a Unity Engineer to support a leading children's entertainment company by owning and maintaining partnership versions of their mobile games. You will be the single developer responsible for these variants, ensuring they meet platform policies and technical requirements.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain partnership versions of existing games, ensuring compliance with platform policies.
- Own all partnership games as the sole developer responsible for their stability and releases.
- Integrate new features from the internal platform into partnership games.
- Migrate games across build and release pipelines.
- Update SDKs and dependencies to maintain app store compliance.
- Collaborate with QA to identify, triage, and fix bugs for smooth releases.
- Manage the release of updates to app stores.
- Occasionally port a game to a new platform.
- Occasionally contribute to miscellaneous technical team tasks.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming.
- Track record of using Unity to build cross-platform mobile apps.
- Solid experience integrating SDKs and APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, resolve complex issues, and ship reliably.
- Habit of proactively keeping stakeholders informed.
Nice to Have
- Experience bringing apps to platforms like Netflix, Apple Arcade, or Kindle.
- Experience releasing apps on app stores, handling submissions and compliance updates.
- Prior work building and maintaining shared software platforms or SDKs.
- Familiarity with build and release pipelines.
