This role focuses on redefining onboarding journeys through thoughtful design, user research, and rapid iteration. You'll work across Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane in a flexible, remote-friendly environment, contributing to end-to-end experiences that balance user needs with technical feasibility.
What You’ll Do
- Map out and refine user journeys, translating complex processes into clear, usable flows
- Create low to mid-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to test concepts quickly
- Run user testing sessions with customers and frontline staff to validate designs
- Collaborate with UI designers to evolve concepts into high-fidelity solutions
- Lead co-design workshops with product and engineering teams to align on goals
- Document scenarios, workflows, and design decisions to support development
- Present concepts and findings to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into iterations
- Deliver completed design stories within agile sprints
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in UX design within a digital agency or enterprise setting
- Proven track record designing for web, tablet, and mobile platforms
- Strong skills in Figma, Sketch, XD, or similar tools for rapid prototyping
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Ability to articulate design thinking clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Familiarity with technical constraints in mobile and web environments
- Experience creating design systems, specifications, and reusable patterns
- Willingness to travel internationally when needed
- A practical mindset, sense of humour, and comfort working at speed
Preferred Background
- Hands-on experience building functional prototypes for touch interfaces
- Background in financial services or regulated industries
- Experience developing digital or content strategies
- Worked with distributed teams across time zones
