Sezzle is seeking a Vice President, Business Development to lead our growth initiatives by identifying new business opportunities and expanding our client base. You will join a dynamic team at a public relations agency, focusing on cultivating relationships and driving strategic partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve the agency's growth objectives.
- Lead efforts to acquire new clients by prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting outreach, and pitching agency services.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including prospective clients, industry partners, and relevant organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations customized to client needs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Establish KPIs, track and analyze metrics to measure effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the Public Relations industry.
- Strong understanding of Public Relations principles, practices, and trends.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with ability to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
- Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Results-oriented mindset with focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
