Gartner, Inc. is hiring a VP Analyst, Cybersecurity Executive Product Management (Remote Canada)

About the Role

Gartner is looking for a VP Analyst, Cybersecurity Executive Product Management to serve as a thought leader within our Business and Technology Insights group. In this role, you will establish credibility as an expert in the cybersecurity market, leading and advising Gartner clients by researching cybersecurity across product and service capabilities to drive strategic decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and advise Gartner clients by researching cybersecurity across a range of product and services capabilities.
  • Create and deliver strategic and tactical advice and research content for CPOs, Product Leaders, and Product Managers on critical cybersecurity technologies.
  • Deliver insights through written reports, presentations, teleconferences, inquiries, and briefings.
  • Conduct innovative, fact-based, 'must-have insights' and analysis around clients' key initiatives.
  • Participate and conduct 'case-based insights' by speaking with senior executives, academics, and industry experts.
  • Provide clients, vendors, and prospects with actionable advice on complex questions, challenges, or circumstances.
  • Proactively support Advisory, Research Engagement Services, Sales, and Service across relevant research key initiatives.
  • Create and deliver high-value presentations for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings.
  • Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts to provide actionable insights.
  • Lead and influence internal projects, special roles, and processes to create the best insights and advice.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of relevant field experience.
  • Prior experience as a Service Delivery Leader/Manager, Consulting Practice Leader/Manager, or in an Executive Product Leadership capacity with AI related solutions.
  • Prior experience working for a large cybersecurity solutions/services company or large organizations implementing, integrating and/or leveraging AI capabilities.
  • Demonstrate executive presence; can immediately establish credibility with executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Demonstrate excellence in research and writing ability.
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks.
  • Strong communicator who can explain complex concepts concisely and simply.
  • Subject matter expert comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within subject area.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams in a multicultural global team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.

  • P&L responsibilities are preferred.

You will work closely with adjacent covering analysts and service delivery associates across Gartner.
