Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize materials to ensure production teams are equipped at the start of each shift
- Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to transport raw materials, ingredients, and finished products
- Follow inventory control procedures with accuracy in receiving, storing, and tracking materials per GMP and regulatory guidelines
- Keep precise records and documentation to support traceability and compliance
- Follow standard operating procedures and checklists independently to complete assigned tasks
- Adhere to food safety regulations, including FDA, USDA, and GMP standards, across all warehouse operations
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and inspection-ready warehouse through regular cleaning and sanitation
- Identify and report potential safety hazards, inventory variances, or quality issues promptly
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to adapt to changing production demands
- Take initiative in learning processes quickly, minimizing repeated questions, and meeting performance expectations
Requirements
- Minimum of one year operating forklifts, with successful completion of an on-site safety evaluation
- Ability to adhere to assigned shifts and adjust schedule as needed during initial training
- Strong focus on accuracy and task completion, including proper use of checklists and forms
- Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Awareness of safety protocols and spatial awareness when using equipment or working around others
- Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Nice to Have
- Prior experience as a warehouse worker in food manufacturing or a regulated environment under GMP, FDA, or USDA oversight
- Experience with inventory tracking systems or warehouse management software
- Fluency in both Spanish and English

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Position is based in a manufacturing and warehouse setting with exposure to fluctuating temperatures, noise, and airborne particles
- Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols
- Requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- May involve operating or being near machinery and equipment
