Astreya Partners is hiring a Web Developer II for a contract role with flexible, varied hours. You will manage a client's CMS-based microsites, serving as the technical bridge to cross-functional business partners to ensure the web presence meets stakeholder needs.
What You'll Do
- Manage the client's headless CMS platform and maintain content architecture
- Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Legal, Product, and Customer Support teams to implement website updates
- Ensure website content and design meets cross-functional business requirements
- Make code modifications to enable new CMS customizations
- Optimize website performance and user experience
- Document processes and provide training to content creators
What We're Looking For
- 2-3+ years of front-end development experience
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant web development work
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
- Experience with React and Vue UI frameworks
- Familiarity with server frameworks including Nuxt.js and Next.js
- Experience working with headless CMS platforms (Strapi experience preferred)
- Understanding of responsive design principles
- Version control using Git
Nice to Have
- Experience with SEO best practices
- Understanding of web accessibility standards
- Experience in an agile development environment
- Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics) for measuring website usage and performance
