Yeo & Yeo is looking for a Seasonal Tax Assistant to join our team for the 2026 tax season, beginning in February and ending approximately in April. You'll be part of a people-first organization with more than 275 professionals dedicated to excellence, where you'll ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our tax return preparation process.

What You'll Do

  • Provide prompt, first quality scanning of all documents to ensure efficient maintenance and accurate record retention.
  • Properly prepare, scan, and file all necessary documents for completion of tax returns.
  • Review each scanned document to ensure paperwork is centered, legible, and all pages are scanned.
  • Spot check all documents to ensure the scanning machine is properly working throughout the day.
  • Ensure all documents are appropriately organized and filed following scanning.
  • Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.
  • Demonstrate concern for accuracy and quality of work, and take steps to correct mistakes and improve the overall product or process.

What We're Looking For

  • A high school diploma or the equivalent.
  • One+ years of customer service and/or accounting experience.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and take direction from multiple managers.
  • Demonstrated action-oriented approach, taking charge and persisting until the task or job is completed.
  • Ability to accept and adjust to changing priorities and circumstances.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in a variety of professional situations.
  • Present self in a manner consistent with the character and standards of the accounting profession.
  • Willingness to participate actively in all on-the-job and formal learning and development opportunities.
