As a Yield Analyst Associate, you'll play a central role in enhancing publisher revenue by analyzing and refining ad auction performance. Using tools like GAM, Prebid, and Amazon TAM, you'll implement and iterate on optimization strategies that directly impact customer success in the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Manage daily yield optimization tasks, identifying opportunities and executing data-informed adjustments across our ad stack.
- Diagnose performance issues using browser developer tools and reporting platforms to understand root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Design and run controlled experiments to test hypotheses, then translate results into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Develop clear, reusable playbooks and runbooks to standardize onboarding and optimization workflows for different publisher segments.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to define and deliver improvements in monetization tools, reporting accuracy, and statistical rigor.
- Support evaluations of third-party vendors by analyzing trial data and contributing to integration decisions that drive measurable performance gains.
What We’re Looking For
- Familiarity with digital ad delivery systems, including programmatic auctions, header bidding, and yield management concepts.
- Strong analytical abilities with experience using spreadsheets and data reports to uncover trends and communicate findings clearly.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot live web environments using console logs, network analysis, and debugging tools.
- A structured, test-driven approach to problem-solving, with documentation skills to share learnings across teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical outcomes to non-technical partners.
- Experience in quantitative or analytical fields, or equivalent hands-on work in data or ad-tech roles.
- Previous exposure to GAM, Prebid, or Amazon TAM is a strong advantage.
