Standard Chartered is hiring an Analyst

Standard Chartered is looking for an Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll provide crucial day-to-day support for Commodities Trading and Sales activities, develop solutions to enhance the client experience, and act as a key subject matter expert for Commodities products.

What You'll Do

  • Work with internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that improve client experience and generate additional revenue.
  • Provide day-to-day support to both Trading and Sales activities, including relationship management functions.
  • Work with regional and global teams to facilitate a 'follow the sun' support model.
  • Collaborate with the COO business and technology/project teams on new product offerings.
  • Support, manage, and execute regional and global initiatives.
  • Communicate with Counter parties, IT Support, Credit, Operations, Front Office, Legal, and Product Controllers.
  • Adhere to key processes and control requirements.
  • Provide Business Continuity Planning and support.
  • Enable new business and solutions, partnering to deliver strategic Commodities initiatives.
  • Constantly seek opportunities to improve global consistency, working across functions and regions to close gaps and standardize processes.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to solve immediate transactional issues and understand longer-term needs to shape Middle Office business decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to facilitate efficient communication and speedy issue resolution.
  • Understand the Commodities products lifecycle from front to back and be the subject matter expert and key team member for the core systems processing.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3 years' experience with Commodities Derivatives.
  • A strong understanding of PNL and Trade lifecycle.
  • Experience with Data Analytics.
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • A university degree.
  • Advanced Excel experience.

  • Compensation range: $79,700 USD to $119,500 USD.
