As a Staff Android Mobile Engineer, you will play a central role in advancing a mobile application built for the blockchain ecosystem. Your work will center on developing and refining features using React Native and TypeScript, ensuring the app remains performant, secure, and intuitive for users managing complex financial interactions.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of new capabilities in the mobile app, focusing on scalability and long-term maintainability
- Integrate core blockchain functions such as wallet connectivity, transaction signing, and on-chain data retrieval
- Build and refine secure interfaces for key management and user authentication, prioritizing data protection and encryption
- Deliver real-time updates for balances, yields, and transaction statuses with smooth, responsive interactions
- Work closely with designers to implement polished UIs and help evolve the mobile design system
- Collaborate with backend and protocol teams to connect off-chain services with on-chain operations, including supply, bridge, and vault workflows
- Optimize performance across memory usage, startup speed, and battery efficiency
- Participate in architectural planning, security reviews, and cross-team alignment on product direction
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience building consumer-facing mobile applications
- 3+ years of hands-on work with React Native and strong proficiency in TypeScript
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture, navigation patterns, animations, and native module integration
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-fidelity, design-accurate user experiences with attention to detail
- Experience handling sensitive data securely, including encryption and secure storage practices
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, work independently, and contribute effectively in fast-moving, collaborative environments
Nice to Have
- Prior work integrating blockchain features like wallets, gas estimation, or RPC communication
- Familiarity with account abstraction concepts and user-centric onboarding flows
