AlmavivA de Belgique is looking for an Application Engineer/Administrator to manage the lifecycle of our critical applications. In this fully remote role, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our application stack across production and non-production environments.
What You'll Do
- Install, configure, and administer applications in production and non-production environments.
- Monitor applications and conduct performance tuning to continuously improve service efficiency and quality.
- Provide application support and maintenance, managing incident, change, release, and problem resolution.
- Write and validate application procedures manuals, including troubleshooting guides and backup/restore plans.
- Automate administrative procedures for recurring system administration tasks and provide technical support documentation.
- Contribute to structuring, maintaining, and developing the technical knowledge base supporting ICT Operations.
- Report on application availability, performance, capacity, and usage as required.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 6 years overall experience as an IT professional in mid/large IT infrastructure environments.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in application administration.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with micro-services, container orchestration, and container-based stacks like Docker or Kubernetes.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience administering and supporting Elasticsearch.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with enterprise Microsoft or Linux server solutions.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Public or Hybrid Cloud services (AZURE or AWS).
- Good knowledge of container technologies including Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker, and Rancher.
- Good knowledge of configuration management concepts and tools like Puppet, Ansible, and Chocolatey.
- Good knowledge of shell and/or PowerShell scripting.
- Good knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, change, release) and DEVOPS principles.
