As a Backend Engineer focused on AI agentic systems, you will play a key role in developing autonomous agent architectures and intelligent backend services. Your work will center on creating robust, scalable solutions that power advanced AI behaviors and decision-making workflows.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel.
- Build high-performance backend services in Python to support AI-driven functionality and real-time processing.
- Develop and refine Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to improve context accuracy and response quality.
- Manage vector databases like Pinecone or Weaviate to enable fast, relevant data retrieval.
- Connect Large Language Models with internal and external APIs to expand agent capabilities.
- Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and engineers to turn experimental concepts into reliable, production-grade systems.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic frameworks (3+ years).
- Strong background in Python development (6+ years), particularly in API and service design.
- Hands-on experience with vector search platforms such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
- Firm understanding of RAG methodologies and agent-based architecture patterns.
- Ability to thrive in collaborative settings and tackle open-ended technical challenges.
- Clear communication skills for technical discussions, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
Nice to Have
- Experience deploying AI applications using Kubernetes or Docker.
- Familiarity with LLM fine-tuning and advanced prompting strategies.
- Proficiency with data processing tools like Pandas or Spark.
- Exposure to LLM monitoring and observability platforms such as LangSmith.
