We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of scalable, high-performance systems that power the next generation of financial infrastructure. In this fully remote role based in LATAM, you'll play a central role in designing and implementing services that form the backbone of a growing blockchain-enabled platform.
What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain robust microservices in Golang within an event-driven architecture
- Collaborate with platform teams to deploy and configure new system components
- Diagnose and resolve production issues with speed and precision
- Engage directly with client engineering teams when technical alignment is needed
What We’re Looking For
- At least five years of software development experience, ideally in financial technology
- Strong command of Golang and experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems
- Familiarity with SQL and thoughtful database schema design
- Deep understanding of electronic trading mechanics, including order types and trade lifecycle management
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Self-direction and comfort working in ambiguous environments, with the ability to form and test hypotheses independently
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Degree in computer science or equivalent practical background
- Background in banking-as-a-service, brokerage, or payments infrastructure
- Exposure to digital asset platforms or blockchain technologies
- Hands-on work with distributed systems, messaging frameworks like Kafka, ZeroMQ, or NATS
