Join a forward-thinking team as a Quality Assurance Engineer focused on maintaining the integrity of complex business systems. In this role, you'll develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate functionality, performance, and user experience across multiple platforms.
What You'll Do
- Design, document, and maintain test cases to support both recurring releases and unique projects.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure system stability and accuracy.
- Identify, log, and follow up on defects using issue-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business experts to understand requirements and improve test coverage.
- Engage throughout the software development lifecycle to advocate for quality at every stage.
- Stay informed about evolving testing practices and industry advancements to enhance team capabilities.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
- Proven knowledge of testing techniques including black-box and white-box methods.
- Familiarity with agile development cycles and collaborative workflows.
- Strong analytical skills with a consistent focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Excellent communication abilities, especially when explaining technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to contribute independently and within cross-functional groups.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Background
- Salesforce certifications in CPQ, ServiceCloud, ExperienceCloud, or Admin/Advanced Admin roles.
- Agile framework certifications such as SAFe, PMI-ACP, or similar.
Technology Environment
You'll work with a modern stack including Salesforce platforms, Certinia (FinancialForce), Databricks, NetSuite, integration tools like MuleSoft and Boomi, document systems like DocuSign and Ironclad CLM, and emerging AI components.
Work Location
This is a local position for candidates residing in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, or Ontario. Remote work is supported within these provinces, but visa sponsorship is not available.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary ranges from CAD 86,000 to CAD 130,000, with additional components including equity, bonus, and comprehensive benefits. Accommodations are available for candidates with disabilities upon request.
