What You’ll Do
- Break down intricate system specifications to define both manual and automated testing approaches
- Develop, evaluate, and run test cases and test plans across frontend, backend, and API layers
- Configure and manage local testing environments, including databases, dependencies, and schema updates
- Set up secure connections to remote test environments using VPNs, environment variables, and test blockchain networks
- Conduct thorough testing of code changes from development and QA teams
- Investigate issues using developer-grade tools such as CLI, DevTools, and log monitors
- Document defects clearly and suggest improvements based on test findings
- Support critical events requiring immediate testing, analysis, or debugging
- Work closely with developers and QA peers to identify, isolate, and resolve issues
- Partner with Product Managers to align test strategies with business requirements
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including standups, planning, and retrospectives
- Promote quality-first practices across the development lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
- At least three years of remote work experience with fluency in collaboration platforms like Slack, Zoom, and Google Drive
- Proven background in software engineering with exposure to multi-system architectures
- Hands-on experience with VSCode, git/GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and Xray
- Proficiency in command-line interfaces such as zsh and related utilities
- Experience running and troubleshooting interconnected services locally, including external dependencies
- Development or testing experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React applications
- Familiarity with a wide range of testing methods: exploratory, functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, load, performance, and smoke testing
- Practical use of debugging tools including browser DevTools, backend logs, and monitoring platforms like DataDog
- Testing experience for web and native iOS apps, particularly on iPad
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests for web interfaces and APIs using Cypress
- Testing GraphQL endpoints via Postman or equivalent tools
- Ability to query databases and run SQL commands using DBeaver or similar tools
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation, especially with GitHub Actions
- Experience creating and reviewing performance, stress, and load tests using K6 or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of blockchain concepts, smart contracts, and Digital Asset Securities (DAS)
- Direct experience with EVM-compatible blockchains, particularly Ethereum
