We’re seeking an experienced Senior Website Visual Designer to lead the visual and user experience design of complex web projects from concept to completion. In this contract role, you'll define design direction, create intuitive user flows, and develop high-fidelity prototypes and scalable design systems—all with accessibility and inclusivity built in from the start.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the full design lifecycle, from discovery and research to final handoff, ensuring solutions are both visually compelling and functionally sound.
- Develop wireframes, user journeys, personas, and sitemaps based on insights gathered during workshops and stakeholder interviews.
- Present and explain design concepts clearly to clients and internal teams, using user-centered reasoning to support your choices.
- Work closely with developers, content strategists, and project managers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Contribute to sales efforts by demonstrating strong design thinking during pitches and client engagements.
- Support public-facing initiatives through thought leadership, such as webinars and presentations.
