BHG Financial is hiring a Data Scientist II to join our team. In this role, you will leverage data to solve complex problems and drive strategic decisions. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of analytical solutions, from data exploration to model deployment.
What You'll Do
- Develop, test, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms
- Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of business initiatives
- Build data pipelines for cleaning, transforming, and aggregating large datasets
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data science projects
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience applying statistical modeling and machine learning in a business context
- Strong proficiency with Python or R for data analysis and model development
- Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Solid understanding of experimental design (A/B testing) and causal inference
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver actionable insights on schedule
