As a Device Solution Architect, you will bridge technical execution with strategic planning to support vital national defense objectives. Your work will center on building and maintaining resilient device infrastructures that adhere to strict security and compliance standards, particularly through implementation of the Device Pillar within a Zero Trust framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain secure, up-to-date device ecosystems aligned with mission-critical requirements
- Apply Department of War Zero Trust principles, with a focus on device posture validation and automated enforcement
- Convert operational needs into actionable technical designs and scalable system architectures
- Evolve existing platforms by integrating emerging technologies and modern tooling
- Ensure seamless interoperability between new solutions and current enterprise systems
- Enable continuous compliance through monitoring, scripting, and policy-driven automation
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least three years of experience in enterprise IT operations, endpoint management, or systems engineering. Additional required experience includes:
- Two or more years using Tanium for deployment and management of core modules
- Two or more years writing scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate workflows
- Hands-on involvement with security, compliance, or incident response processes in large-scale environments
- Experience with configuration and monitoring tools such as MECM, SCCM, Intune, or Splunk
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with containerization platforms including Docker and Kubernetes
- Extended use of Tanium modules such as Comply, Deploy, Patch, and Threat Response
- Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible

The role leverages a modern stack including Tanium, PowerShell, Python, Bash, MECM, SCCM, Intune, Splunk, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
Work Arrangement
This position operates in a hybrid model, combining remote flexibility with periodic on-site collaboration at client or company locations as required. Some roles may require in-person presence depending on mission needs.
Compensation and Benefits
The projected annual salary ranges from $99,000 to $225,000, determined by location, education, skills, experience, and organizational constraints.
