Lead the Engineering Vision for Next-Gen AI Data Centers
We are looking for an Executive Vice President of Engineering to drive the technical direction of our expanding AI data center platform. In this role, you will define engineering standards, guide infrastructure planning, and ensure operational excellence across global facilities. Your leadership will be central to designing, building, and maintaining high-performance environments tailored for AI and high-performance computing workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the engineering strategy for AI data center design, infrastructure scalability, and long-term operational readiness
- Oversee critical systems including power distribution, cooling, controls, and mechanical infrastructure with a focus on reliability and efficiency
- Establish engineering best practices that ensure maintainability, safety, and performance across all phases from concept to handover
- Lead technical evaluations for high-density computing environments, including advanced thermal management and power delivery solutions
- Collaborate with development, design, and construction teams to align engineering decisions with operational goals
- Guide commissioning processes and identify potential risks in design, construction, or system integration
- Build and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams across facility systems, controls, and technical operations
- Develop maintenance frameworks, escalation protocols, and performance benchmarks for global infrastructure
- Advise executive leadership on technical differentiation, expansion strategies, and innovation in AI infrastructure
- Stay ahead of industry advancements in power, cooling, and digital infrastructure to maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications and Experience
You bring a strong foundation in engineering with extensive leadership in mission-critical environments. Your background includes:
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 15 years of progressive leadership in data center engineering, infrastructure design, or complex technical operations
- Direct experience with hyperscale, cloud, AI, or HPC data center environments
- Deep technical knowledge of electrical systems, UPS, generators, cooling technologies, and building controls
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in fast-moving, high-growth settings
- Strong executive communication skills with experience engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A strategic mindset that balances technical excellence with business objectives

- Advanced degree in a relevant technical or management discipline
- Experience in build-to-suit data center development or owner-operated digital infrastructure
- Background in utility coordination, campus-scale planning, or energy strategy
- Direct collaboration with enterprise or cloud customers on infrastructure solutions
