DEX Imaging is hiring a Field Engineer to provide on-site technical delivery at client locations, working with centralized teams to ensure stable and secure customer environments. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who thrives in client-facing situations and solving complex infrastructure challenges.
What You'll Do
- Travel to client sites to deliver reactive and proactive technical support.
- Provide Tier I and Tier II consultative support to end users and client stakeholders.
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service tasks.
- Assess customer environments against DEX standards and actively work to remediate gaps.
- Resolve complex technical issues across Microsoft Windows Server (2008–2022), Microsoft Exchange, RDS, Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, workstation/server hardware and peripherals, networking (switching, firewalls, wireless), and backup, replication, cloud, and virtualization technologies.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and third-party vendors.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, utilization, and service quality.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting client-server environments.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and MSP best practices.
- Familiarity with Office 365, Azure, and cloud-based services.
- Confident, polished communicator comfortable in client-facing situations.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, including whiteboard presentations.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and effective under competing priorities.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation required for travel to client sites.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MSP tools such as ConnectWise and IT Glue.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- MCSE or other relevant industry certifications.
- Bilingual.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in Doral, Florida, requiring travel to client locations.
