Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment and startup of automated systems at customer locations, covering mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Set up and verify PLC logic, human-machine interfaces, motion control systems, and industrial networks including Profinet, EtherCAT, and Ethernet/IP.
- Conduct factory acceptance tests in Bristol and site acceptance tests at client facilities, validating full functionality and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers, motion systems, communication protocols, and electrical integrations, including remote troubleshooting.
- Implement software and firmware upgrades, execute system modernizations, and suggest enhancements for reliability and efficiency.
- Generate comprehensive service documentation and handover materials, and deliver training to customer operators and maintenance personnel.
- Collaborate with project managers, service planners, and engineering teams worldwide to share field observations and improve system designs.

- Approximately 70% of time spent traveling to customer sites.
- Accountable for conducting factory acceptance tests in Bristol and site acceptance tests at client locations.
- Offer remote technical support during non-travel periods.
- Hands-on position requiring direct customer engagement and on-location problem resolution.
