As a Field Service Engineer for Cargo Inspection Systems (CIS), you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing high-energy scanning technology used in critical security environments. Your primary focus will be on delivering reliable, safe, and efficient service across the Benelux, particularly in the southern Netherlands and Belgium.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on X-ray-based cargo and vehicle inspection systems to ensure continuous operational performance.
- Conduct on-site assessments, manage spare parts logistics, and support system upgrades to enhance functionality and uptime.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new systems, both at factory sites and customer locations.
- Deliver remote and on-call technical assistance as part of a rotating support schedule.
- Help refine service processes, documentation, and customer support practices to improve service delivery.
- Maintain full compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
Applicants must be eligible to obtain Dutch security clearance. Sponsorship is not available for this requirement. A background in technical service, field engineering, or a related discipline is essential, with experience in complex electromechanical or security systems being highly advantageous.
