As a Finance Automation Analyst, you will take ownership of payment reconciliation systems, using Simetrik to maintain precision across complex financial data flows. Your primary focus will be configuring and overseeing automated reconciliation processes that unify data from banks, payment gateways, and internal systems, ensuring every transaction is accurately tracked and verified.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage reconciliation workflows in Simetrik, applying matching logic, tolerance rules, and data mappings to integrate diverse financial inputs.
- Investigate and resolve transaction mismatches and anomalies, maintaining alignment between accounting records and actual cash movements.
- Ensure financial data integrity to support compliance with audit standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor fees charged by payment processors to identify inaccuracies and protect revenue.
- Produce clear reports and dashboards that track cash flow across currencies and payment methods.
- Work with Finance, Payments, and Risk teams to refine end-to-end transaction handling.
- Spot inefficiencies and lead initiatives to automate and standardize payment operations.
What You Bring
- At least three years in payment operations, financial reconciliations, or fintech environments.
- Direct experience with Simetrik, including rule configuration and data reconciliation workflows.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including modeling and data analysis.
- Strong grasp of payment processing, settlement cycles, and financial controls.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent reconciliation streams.
- High attention to detail and analytical rigor.
