RightMove is hiring a Full Stack Engineer (Remote; East Coast Preference)

About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build and evolve full stack applications that power advanced musculoskeletal care solutions. Working remotely with a preference for candidates on the East Coast, you will play a central role in developing scalable systems using Next.js, React, Node.js, and AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, test, and deploy robust web applications with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Turn product and design inputs into clean, efficient code that meets clinical and operational needs.
  • Help shape and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, automated deployments.
  • Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor system health, optimize performance, and support scaling initiatives across AWS environments.
  • Ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance through secure architecture and coding practices aligned with SOC 2 and HIPAA standards.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Clinical teams to align technical direction with patient impact.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and team growth through knowledge sharing and mentorship.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 8 years of software engineering experience, with 5 years focused on full stack web development.
  • Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js in production environments.
  • Proven experience with AWS services across compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Hands-on background with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
  • Experience with testing frameworks including Jest and Cypress.
  • Familiarity with AI or LLM-driven features and healthcare data standards like FHIR or EHR integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver systems that achieve real-world business and clinical outcomes.
  • A self-driven approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and lead technical initiatives independently.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Next.js server-side rendering, microservices, or event-driven system design.
