Shape meaningful financial tools as a Full Stack Product Engineer on a platform built for financial advisors and their clients. You’ll take full ownership of features—from initial concept based on user insights to deployment and refinement—ensuring each addition is intuitive, reliable, and aligned with long-term goals.
What You’ll Do
- Lead features from idea to iteration, using feedback and strategy to guide development
- Design and implement both frontend and backend components with maintainability in mind
- Collaborate with designers to refine user experience and ensure usability
- Engage directly with users through scheduled support rotations to understand pain points
- Document decisions, progress, and technical reasoning clearly for distributed teams
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5+ years building and maintaining full-stack web applications
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React for scalable solutions
- Ability to write clean, testable code that stands the test of time
- Comfort translating complex financial workflows into simple digital experiences
- Proven skill in communicating technical ideas clearly in writing
- Self-direction in managing tasks and timelines without close oversight
- Initiative to spot gaps and drive improvements independently
Preferred Experience
- Background in FinTech or familiarity with financial modeling principles
- Experience integrating APIs across disparate systems
- Prior technical customer support roles
