As a Fullstack Engineer, you will play a central role in defining both the product vision and technical strategy. Working side by side with company founders, you'll take ownership of backend architecture and system design, ensuring the platform can support high-volume transaction flows in digital commerce.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development of backend services from initial concept through to production deployment
- Collaborate directly with leadership to shape engineering priorities and long-term roadmap
- Design robust, scalable systems capable of handling millions of transactions
- Write well-tested, maintainable code with a focus on quality and performance
- Develop automated testing frameworks to uphold platform reliability
- Make independent technical decisions while aligning with broader company goals
What We're Looking For
- At least 7 years of hands-on backend development experience, ideally building scalable B2B platforms
- Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of owning and delivering multiple system modules or services
- Strong proficiency in one or more languages such as Scala, Java, Python, Elixir, or Go
- Experience with relational databases including Postgres or MySQL
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS
- Proficiency with version control using Git
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical concepts effectively
Nice to Have
- Background in microservices and distributed systems
- Experience in payment systems—such as digital wallets, remittances, or card processing
- Familiarity with API frameworks like Django, Ruby on Rails, or Node.js/Express
