Responsibilities
- Configure, set up, and maintain GIS data remotely, with occasional on-site work as needed.
- Coordinate information flow between internal teams and customer agencies.
- Manage communications with customer contacts regarding project timelines and ongoing maintenance.
- Produce required reports and documentation in compliance with departmental and project standards.
- Deliver training sessions using diverse instructional tools such as lectures, digital presentations, and visual aids.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or over three years of professional experience in GIS, Geography, or Cartography.
- Eligible to obtain government-mandated background clearance.
- Authorized to work in the United States without time restrictions.
- Demonstrated experience with ESRI software and GIS data management practices.
- Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS tools including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, cached services, and ArcGIS Online.
- Understanding of cartographic principles and geospatial methods applied to public safety systems.
- Proficiency in Python scripting.
- Design, implement, and maintain data workflows for diverse GIS data requirements.
- Capable of managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Consistently meet established deadlines.
- Committed to ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Skilled in standard office software applications.
- Strong interpersonal abilities with proven conflict resolution and teamwork.
- Willing to travel when necessary.
