As a Junior SOC Analyst, you'll play a key role in maintaining the security posture of investment-focused clients by monitoring alerts, validating potential threats, and ensuring timely escalation. Working remotely from Ukraine, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team using SIEM and endpoint detection tools to identify and respond to security events.
What You'll Do
- Monitor security alerts generated by SIEM and endpoint protection platforms
- Conduct initial analysis to determine the legitimacy and severity of incidents
- Follow documented procedures to escalate confirmed events
- Investigate phishing attempts and assist in containment efforts
- Maintain accurate records of all investigative actions and findings
- Adhere to runbooks and playbooks for consistent operational response
- Engage in regular training and simulation exercises to improve readiness
Requirements
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and common attack vectors
- Experience interpreting logs and security alerts
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow structured processes under pressure

- Prior exposure to IT support or entry-level security roles
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms or endpoint security tools
