As a Junior Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping reliable data infrastructure by supporting the development and maintenance of data warehouses and ETL pipelines. What You'll Do
- Support the integration of business logic into data warehouse structures under the guidance of senior engineers
- Help convert business needs into foundational data models and transformation workflows
- Contribute to building, monitoring, and maintaining ETL processes using Azure Data Factory
- Assist with data ingestion, validation routines, and basic performance tuning of queries
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand data requirements and flow patterns
- Document processes and adhere to best practices in development and data management
- Gradually introduce suggestions for improvements as your understanding evolves
What We're Looking For
- Up to 1.5 years of experience in data engineering or related technical roles
- Practical experience with SQL and a strong interest in using it as a primary tool
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and data modeling principles
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure or a strong motivation to learn Azure-based data platforms
- Understanding of Agile methodologies from academic, internship, or early professional experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Hands-on exposure to tools like Azure Data Factory, dbt, or similar ETL frameworks
- Basic familiarity with Databricks
- Knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics domains
- Experience working with SAP data, particularly MM or related modules
Technology Environment
