We're seeking an entry-level Landscape Designer to contribute to a broad range of landscape architecture initiatives, from urban plazas and educational campuses to trail systems and ecological restoration areas. Based in Tempe, this role operates on a hybrid schedule, blending in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
What You'll Do
- Support the development and coordination of design and construction documentation for public and institutional landscapes.
- Collaborate across project types including parks, streetscapes, natural areas, and civic facilities.
- Produce detailed drawings and visual materials using industry-standard tools.
- Engage in team-based planning and design processes that emphasize sustainability and community value.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Planning, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Up to two years of experience in a design or planning agency environment.
- Strong graphic and design skills with demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Landfx, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a cooperative, multidisciplinary setting.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Commitment to working in the office an average of three days per week, with flexible scheduling options available.
