Lead Network & Cloud Engineer
Take ownership of a complex hybrid network infrastructure that spans on-premises and cloud environments. As the senior technical authority, you will lead the design, security, and optimization of systems built on Cisco Meraki and Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability, resilience, and compliance with zero-trust frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical expert for Cisco Meraki and Azure networking components, guiding strategic decisions and resolving critical system-wide incidents.
- Design and document secure network architectures, implementing segmentation strategies for corporate and AV networks in alignment with zero-trust models.
- Lead configuration and optimization of Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, Azure Firewall, and hybrid connectivity via VPN and Direct Connect.
- Enforce robust security policies through Azure Firewall rule management, TLS inspection, and integration of network logs with Azure Sentinel for centralized monitoring.
- Perform root cause analysis for Priority 1 incidents and complex multi-system outages, ensuring rapid resolution and long-term prevention.
- Validate disaster recovery procedures, including automated backups and restoration workflows, to maintain operational continuity.
- Drive adoption of AIOps and machine learning tools to predict failures, detect anomalies, and improve network performance proactively.
- Oversee dependency mapping and change validation across hybrid environments to prevent service disruptions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute technical insights to performance reporting and service reviews.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including topology diagrams, firewall policy hierarchies, and integration maps.
