We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist with 4-5 years of experience to join our team at Nexthire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Science and Machine Learning, with specific expertise in Dataiku and experience working with longitudinal/transactional patient-level data (APLD) in the pharmaceutical domain.
What You'll Do
- Utilize Dataiku, a fully hosted SaaS AI platform, to automate data preparation, pipeline development, statistical analysis, and model creation.
- Develop custom applications on the Dataiku platform to address complex data challenges.
- Work with longitudinal/transactional patient-level data (APLD) to derive actionable insights within the pharmaceutical domain.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques to understand trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
- Develop predictive models, perform statistical analysis, and create machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
- Translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Ensure alignment of data strategies with business objectives.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders using data visualization tools and platforms.
- Create comprehensive reports that effectively communicate analysis results.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in Data Science, with a strong focus on machine learning, statistical analysis, and data engineering.
- Proficiency in Dataiku, including hands-on experience in building data pipelines, automating workflows, and developing machine learning models.
- Strong understanding of longitudinal/transactional patient-level data (APLD) within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and big data technologies.
- Prior experience in life sciences services companies (e.g., GE Healthcare, IQVIA, WNS, Accenture, Indegene, etc.) with exposure to patient-level data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
