Berry Dunn McNeil & Parker, LLC is hiring an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Subject Matter Expert

About the Role

This position seeks a seasoned Organizational Change Management (OCM) professional to serve as a Senior Consultant within a specialized Medicaid practice. The individual will play a central role in guiding State Medicaid Agencies through enterprise system modernization, with an initial focus on a client in Puerto Rico undergoing Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver OCM services tailored to the unique needs of public health clients
  • Design and implement change strategies using recognized frameworks to support system adoption and organizational alignment
  • Collaborate on the creation of project deliverables including change assessments, readiness evaluations, training plans, and process documentation
  • Manage communication plans and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across agencies, vendor teams, and internal staff
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to convey change initiatives and gather feedback
  • Monitor project performance, track risks and decisions, and ensure timely reporting on progress and outcomes
  • Support business process analysis, gap identification, and development of standard operating procedures
  • Contribute to team development by mentoring junior staff and sharing best practices

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though substantial relevant experience may substitute. Candidates must bring at least five years of hands-on OCM experience in technology-driven change projects, with three years focused on Medicaid or large-scale healthcare organizations. Familiarity with CMS guidelines and MES modernization is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with Visio a plus. Certification in Prosci® or similar methodologies is advantageous, as is prior consulting experience.

Work Environment

This hybrid role allows remote work or presence in designated offices, including locations in Maine, West Virginia, Arizona, and Puerto Rico. Candidates must align with Atlantic Standard Time for consistent collaboration. Fluency in English is mandatory; Spanish proficiency is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $115,000 to $135,000, with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus tied to individual and organizational performance.
