Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for reaching out via phone to prospective study candidates sourced from marketing efforts, databases, EHR systems, outreach campaigns, and community initiatives.
- Perform telephone interviews to assess preliminary eligibility and determine qualification for in-person screening appointments.
- Communicate comprehensive details about research studies and respond to participant questions on criteria, visits, procedures, time requirements, and logistics.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality service during every interaction with patients.
- When a patient does not qualify for the initial study, evaluate eligibility in real time for other active or upcoming studies within relevant therapeutic areas and conduct further pre-screening as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule in-person screening appointments for qualified participants according to defined scheduling standards.
- Enter and document patient data and call summaries into CTMS and other systems, following established enrollment protocols.
- Monitor and report key metrics such as call results, barriers to enrollment, and other requested data points.
- Participate in regular and on-demand enrollment team meetings and organizational staff sessions as required.
- Follow all standardized procedures for patient enrollment without deviation.
- Adhere to HIPAA, FDA, GCP, IRB, local regulatory standards, and internal SOPs and Work Instructions.
