What you will be doing: The AI Engineer will collaborate closely with system and software engineers to design, prototype, and integrate AI advancements into existing architecture. This is a transformative role focused on constructing solutions that augment human intelligence, optimize workflows, and elevate the overall effectiveness of intelligence operations. What you need: - Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional developer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. - Minimum of 6 years of software development experience Required technical skills and responsibilities include: - Design and Development: Spearhead the design and development of AI-driven solutions from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with existing software architecture. This includes prototyping innovative models, writing production-quality code, and maintaining current AI systems. - Collaboration and Communication: Function as a critical technical liaison, engaging with cross-functional teams including system engineers, software developers, and domain experts. Effectively communicate and articulate recommended AI approaches, discussing implementation tradeoffs and implications with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Data Analysis and Modeling: Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on diverse datasets (both structured and unstructured) to inform data models, identify data quality issues, and determine optimal input formats for AI models. - Model Building and Evaluation: Create, train, and evaluate multiple machine learning models, ensuring they meet performance and reliability requirements. Implement robust testing and validation strategies to guarantee model accuracy and minimize bias. - Continuous Improvement: Remain current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, consistently seeking opportunities to apply emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance existing systems and resolve complex challenges. - Cloud Platforms: Possess experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing platform and machine learning operations (MLOps) tools for deploying and managing machine learning models at scale. Clearance: Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role. Salary range: $101,996.00 - $195,500.00 (Annually)* Req ID-PRX 25-919 *The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position.
