Principal IT Analyst – We are looking for a skilled analytics leader to drive data strategy and execution within the Human Capital Management (HCM) space. This role plays a central part in shaping how workforce data is collected, modeled, analyzed, and secured across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analytics initiatives, collaborating with HR, IT, and enterprise data teams to deliver insights aligned with business objectives
- Design and implement data warehouse architectures using star schemas, fact and dimension tables, and logical and physical data models
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW), OTBI, and BIP, integrating data through ODI or Informatica
- Create advanced visualizations such as heat maps, tree maps, and scatter plots to support decision-making
- Ensure data governance, object-level and data-level security, and compliance across Oracle HCM reporting platforms
- Administer BI environments, including metadata modeling, dashboard development, and data access controls
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple databases to support integration and analytics needs
- Diagnose and resolve data performance and integrity issues within Oracle systems
- Guide teams in adopting predictive analytics, AI, and machine learning techniques to enhance workforce insights
- Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring team members and influencing data strategy across departments
Qualifications
Applicants should demonstrate:
- 10 or more years of experience in HCM-focused analytics, preferably within large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong grasp of HR data structures, KPIs, metrics, and security frameworks
- Proven track record in data warehousing, BI administration, and performance optimization
- Expertise in SQL, Oracle HCM, Fusion Data Intelligence, and related reporting tools
- Ability to lead technical teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and prioritize competing demands
Preferred Background
- Degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM and Fusion Analytics Warehouse
- Strong analytical mindset with effective communication and presentation skills
- FAW certification is a plus
