As an R&D Engineer, you will lead the development of electronic control units (ECUs) for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), guiding designs from initial concept to series production. Your work will span the full hardware development lifecycle, including schematic design, PCB layout, and rigorous validation to ensure signal integrity, power efficiency, and long-term reliability in automotive environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and validate electronic circuits, including switch-mode power supplies, high-precision analog sensor interfaces, and high-speed digital systems
- Develop and optimize schematics and printed circuit board layouts in compliance with strict signal and power integrity requirements
- Integrate microcontrollers and system-on-chip platforms with peripheral interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, and QSPI
- Apply simulation, modeling, and empirical testing to refine circuit performance and reliability
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to solve complex mixed-signal and system-level challenges
- Support industrialization and series production readiness using structured development processes
- Drive improvements in cost, manufacturability, and performance while maintaining functional safety and security standards
Qualifications
Applicants should hold an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with at least four years of hands-on experience in electronics hardware design. Proficiency with lab equipment—such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies—is essential for circuit bring-up and debugging.
Required expertise includes SMPS design, analog front-end development, high-speed digital circuit design, and PCB layout practices. Strong analytical skills and a structured, data-driven approach to problem-solving are expected. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is necessary for documentation and collaboration.
Preferred candidates will have experience with embedded firmware development, Python scripting, or automotive functional safety and security principles.
