This role is designed for a technically skilled professional passionate about solving enterprise security challenges. As a Sales Engineer based in Oman, you will partner closely with sales teams to guide large organizations through critical security transformations, aligning Forcepoint’s technology with real-world business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with enterprise customers to assess technical needs and demonstrate how security solutions address data protection, cloud security, email, web, and network risks
- Lead solution demonstrations, architecture workshops, and whiteboarding sessions for both technical and executive audiences
- Design and support proof-of-concept deployments, pilots, and evaluations within customer environments
- Develop solution designs and integration strategies across hybrid and cloud infrastructures
- Assist in crafting responses to RFIs and RFPs, including technical documentation and architecture diagrams
- Collaborate with partners and internal engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation and integration
- Deliver technical presentations at customer meetings, industry events, and partner trainings
- Provide feedback to product teams based on field insights and evolving market demands
Qualifications
You bring at least five years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally in pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, or technical sales support. A solid foundation in enterprise network and security architecture is essential.
Required skills include hands-on experience with major security platforms, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S), and security technologies such as firewalls, TLS, proxies, and secure web gateways. Familiarity with identity systems (Active Directory, SAML, SSO), REST APIs, and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Regex is expected. Experience with endpoint management tools like Jamf and container platforms such as Kubernetes is a plus.
Fluency in English is mandatory, with strong communication abilities to translate technical details into clear business value for diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Background
- Knowledge of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and data classification frameworks
- Experience supporting enterprise or government sales cycles
- Prior work in cybersecurity engineering or large-scale security deployments
Work Environment
This position is based in Oman, with travel expected across Turkey, UAE, STAN, RoG, and the Levant region.
