We're looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Ruby-on-Rails to help build and evolve the core infrastructure of our SaaS platform. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing backend components that are reliable, scalable, and aligned with user needs.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain clean, efficient Ruby code following established best practices and design patterns.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and lead improvements in development workflows and system scalability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure software quality through testing, performance optimization, and security validation.
- Support the full development lifecycle—from concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Integrate AI-powered features such as LLMs, vector databases, and AI agents to enhance platform capabilities.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for their thoughtful adoption within the team.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of four years of professional experience working with Ruby-on-Rails.
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and scalable system design principles.
- Proven experience with Git and modern version control workflows.
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges with practical, maintainable solutions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
- Fluency in English is required for communication and documentation.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
- CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Circle CI.
- Hands-on work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
- Background in high-traffic or mission-critical systems, especially in FinTech or e-commerce.
- Experience with prompt engineering, AI workflow tools, or building autonomous AI agents.
