Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and oversee intricate BI datasets, semantic layers, and Tableau dashboards to evaluate executive performance across various metrics.
- Establish and refine enterprise metrics, taxonomy, and governance to ensure consistent and reliable analytics across the organization.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to define data contracts, ingestion requirements, and transformation logic for scalable analytics.
- Work with Analytics to convert exploratory analysis into standardized, reusable BI products.
- Develop and maintain advanced SQL transformations for production BI workflows.
- Advocate for data quality by identifying issues, assessing business impact, and driving improvements across systems.
- Build BI assets, including datasets, semantic layers, and documented metrics, to support various use cases such as automation and AI-powered analytics.
- Create BI documentation, metadata standards, and data quality signals to make metrics understandable and ready for AI-driven and self-service consumption.
- Promote BI adoption by partnering with leaders to prioritize high-impact work, enable stakeholders, and reduce ad hoc reporting.
- Act as a trusted partner, aligning teams around shared definitions, priorities, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or related roles, with ownership of enterprise-scale BI products.
- Proficient in SQL and data modeling, including complex transformations and performance optimization.
- Extensive experience designing Tableau dashboards with governed and reusable semantic layers.
- Proven track record of defining, documenting, and owning business-critical metrics used by senior leaders.
- Ability to work in dynamic environments and translate evolving questions into scalable analytics solutions.
- Collaborative partner who connects technical solutions to business priorities and outcomes.
- Outcome-oriented mindset with a focus on adoption, trust, and long-term scalability.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting customer experience, contact center, workforce, or operational organizations.
- Familiarity with complex operational systems such as CRM, workforce management tools, and billing platforms.
- Experience building BI foundations, including semantic layers, feature-consistent datasets, and metric definitions, to support AI, automation, experimentation, or agent-assisted decisioning initiatives.
